Job Description:

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to keep our Stores stocked and ready to serve customers. H E B’s Supply Chain Team innovates and executes to optimize source-to shelf operations by analyzing supply chain processes and systems and providing current, reliable supply chain data, analysis, and technical info.

As a Manager of Supply Chain Analysis, you’ll lead a team that develops processes, tools, and reports, and provides data analytics to support H-E-B’s supply chain strategic initiatives, including supply and demand forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Packages / transports/ loads groceries, merchandise from the Store to customer-s vehicle
• Assists in selecting, sorting, unloading merchandise from baskets or totes into refrigeration, frozen, or dry storage holding areas, and returning products to their proper location
• Complies with federal, state, and company regulations / standards for product freshness, food safety, and sanitation
• Uses a digital tool to select items necessary to complete order from store, to pack and put away customer orders in staging area, and to retrieve orders for customers
• Provides excellent customer service; answers product-related questions, locates products, and helps Customers as needed
• Minimizes shrink through careful handling of product
• Achieves productivity standards

Job Requirements:

• Ability to confidently, credibly present to executive teams
• Advanced computer skills; proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to produce work on highly complex topics with impact on external stakeholder groups, management decisions, and business results

Qualification & Experience:

• A master’s degree (preferred); experience managing large-scale projects
• Experience successfully managing large-scale projects
• Supply Chain Systems: PMP certification; experience in technology-related projects (preferred)
• Transportation Modeling (Transportation Supply Chain only): experience analyzing freight networks (preferred)
• Transportation Procurement (Transportation Supply Chain only): experience with freight term changes, logistics
• Experience managing others in retail distribution or inventory management
• 8+ years of experience
• Supply Chain Optimization: experience developing / maintaining engineered labor standards (preferred)
