Job Description:

The Institutional Audit Project Manager will co-ordinate engagements throughout the university on the Institutional Audit. Ensure there are efficient processes for collection, recording and safe-keeping of all formats of evidence. Follow-up on hard to reach stakeholders and evidence. Co-ordinate input and write the Self Evaluation Report.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in negotiating with stakeholders to get buy-in for the
• Be a central point of coordination between CQPA and internal project
• Keep track of project timelines and project deliverables and ensure that all stakeholders receive timely reminders on expectations/requirements/output.
• Preparation of progress reports, other project documentation, project closure report and presenting these to relevant structures.
• Ensure that Institutional Audit Project is managed according to CHE guidelines and DUT institutional
• Troubleshooting to ensure the project runs efficiently and meets and/or exceeds
• Amending and editing the SER to ensure coherent narrative, appropriate evidence numbering and alignment of evidence numbering, report narrative and specified evidence.
• Management and co-ordination of Institutional Audit Steering Committee
• Assist in training stakeholders so as to improve their understanding of and participation in the
• Maintain oversight of activities and timelines for Steering Committee members, Self-Evaluation
• Report writing, visit programme, collecting and organizing

Job Requirements:

• A track record of successful management of cross-functional projects at a university
• Writing Skills (report and academic)
• Organizing skills
• Masters in Social Sciences / Humanities or related field
• Project Management skills
• Advanced IT Skills
• Has the ability to hold university stakeholders at all levels accountable for their deliverables on agreed-to timelines
• A strong working knowledge of universities’ business processes, governance structure and decision-making dynamics,
