Job Description:

To process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all benches within the Immunology Laboratory, delivering results timeously

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath
• Maintain quality control to ensure relevant quality standards are upheld within the laboratory
• Perform allocated bench work in order to ensure effective and timeous delivery of results
• Perform mm tasks in order to ensure effective monitoring and ordering of stock quantities

Job Requirements:

• Experience in pathology laboratory environment
• Knowledge: Accreditation processes / procedures
• Knowledge: GCP/GLP requirements
• HPCSA regulations
• Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies
• Materials Management
• Meditech system
• Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA)
• Relevant pathology test procedures
• Certificate: Medical Technician
• Grade 12
• HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field
